The private pond Štrkovisko Lagúna is located just 19 kilometers from Bratislava in the town of Šamorín, Čilistov district. This beautiful place was created by gravel extraction in 1975 in the attractive grounds of Hotel Kormorán****, which boasts a picturesque extensive park full of greenery, flowers, and pleasant seating with a view of the pond. Near the pond is the Marina and Botel Kormorán with accommodation and catering services, including mooring for small vessels and cabin boats. In the summer season, regular boat trips are organized for the public, during which you can admire the beauty of the Danube directly from the outer deck. The attractions around the pond also include built cycle paths, sports facilities, accommodation and restaurant options at Hotel Kormorán, suitable for organizing celebrations, family events, team buildings, and conferences according to your requirements.

Since 2016, the gravel pit has been a private fishing preserve. Its area is 4.69 ha, the maximum water depth is 3 m, and in shallow parts around 1.50 m. The fishing season starts from the melting of ice after winter until the pond completely freezes over; it is richly stocked with trophy fish.
